Product description

If you’re looking for outstanding performance and maximum radius variability, the Peregrine 72 Master is the ski for you. The Peregrine 72 Master with tip and tail rocker offers riders a completely advanced level of direct steering and super-fast tip response. With an ash core (which is usually reserved for our World Cup models), two layers of Titanal with 3D.Glass and a tailored carbon tip, this ski is packed with the collective expertise of Völkl’s engineers. The tailored carbon tip produces an extremely direct and reliable tip response. The carbon fibres are positioned differently on each model and laid down at particular angles, which allows each length of ski to be tuned precisely to the needs of a highly ambitious, aggressive yet effortless riding style. The Peregrine 72 Master is available in lengths of 168cm, 173 cm and 178 cm and offers a highly competitive but at the same time playful skiing experience at primarily medium till short radii.

For maximum performance, the skis also come with a pre-mounted 10 mm Marker World Cup plate.

WorldCup Ash Woodcore:

The high-quality core made of solid ash, which extends over the entire length of the ski, is a technical highlight that has great impact on the skiing characteristics. The particularly elastic hardwood has so far only been used in racing skis for World Cup athletes and acts as an energy accumulator: while the ski flexes when initiating the turn, the fibers stretch and absorb the tension energy. At the exit of the turn, this accumulated energy is released, giving the ski a lively feel. Due to the specific suppleness of ash wood, the ski also adapts optimally to the surface. This results in the greatest possible stability and reliability, which makes the ski particularly smooth.

Tailored Carbon Tips:

In this innovative manufacturing process the new Tailored Carbon Tips are produced by embroidering the individual carbon fibers onto a carrier material. This allows them to be positioned exactly along the stress lines, opening up completely new possibilities, for performance at the front of the ski, which has a decisive influence on the handling of the ski. The stiffness, torsion and thus the skiing characteristics can be specifically adjusted via the fiber thickness and millimeter-precise alignment. In this way, the fibers guide the dynamics to the areas of the ski where they are needed. The visibly integrated Tailored Carbon Tips are light, allow an agile shovel reaction with less effort and quickly build up energy. The Tailored Carbon Tips thus reach a new level of precision, direct tip response and active skiing pleasure.

Full Titanal:

The titanium setup makes the ski agile and dynamic. Especially friends of a hard, fast and aggressive riding style benefit from the quick response of this construction.

Full Sidewall ABS:

ABS is a durable and resilient plastic known for its strength and impact resistance. It offers high resistance to shocks and impacts, making the ski more robust and long-lasting. These sidewalls allow for precise power transfer from the skier to the edges of the ski.

3D.GLASS:

Compared to classic glass constructions the three-dimensional and multiple-folded glass layers in the tip and in the tail area result in an increased edge grip and a more vivid rebound behavior in turns. 1 3D.GLASS IS INTEGRATED IN THE TIP AND TAIL OF THE SKI // flat glass under the binding making the center softer // variable turning at any speed 2 GLASS ABOVE THE SIDEWALL //providing additional support for superior edge grip on icy slopes 3 VERTICAL GLASS IN TIP & TAIL AREA //more pop for faster edge to edge changes

Base P-Tex 4504:

A sintered, ultra-high molecular polyethylene base with an extremely high density. Besides a great wear resistance and perfect wax absorption the P-Tex 4504 is extremely fast and exclusively used on our top of the line and race models. The material has been upgraded with special additives to make it thermal and electro-conductive and proves its qualities with premium glide and maximum speed in races.

Tip & Tail Rocker:

Character: Bends up only in the shovel and tail zones, with a camber shape in the middle

Marker WorldCup Plate:

High-speed racing like the pros. Thanks to Piston Control, an integrated hydraulic oil piston, even the smallest bit of energy is converted into speed. Of course the interface is compatible with the Race X-cell bindings.
